Off The Beaten Track
Off The Beaten Track is an interactive map of the liberties.
The idea behind it was to provoke communication and conversation with the area and people of the Liberties.
Inside this interactive map you receive a poster of one of the focal tourist points of the liberties, a notebook with facts and information about each stop on the tour and some classic Irish snacks.
Not only is the poster on the inside a beautiful keepsake but it also acts as a picnic mat to share your snacks on.
The aim of this map was to create a joyful learning experience for tourists to interact with Dublin 8 and its inhabitants.

Whats included
Here we wanted to have some traditional Irish snacks that tourists associate with Ireland and Irish culture.
Testing
We went out with our initial prototype, and two users acted as tourists. We followed them around to gauge and observe at a distance how they interacted with the local area and the interactive map.
