GRIP
GRIP was in conjunction with St.James Hospital alongside a team of product designers. Sarah Norgrove, Tadhg O’Connell, Federico Tusacciu, Gareth Byrne and George Paton.
Its purpose was to create a space for crutches that would not hinder the nurses, doctors, or patients in limited spacing in the hospital setting.
Our answer to this issue was GRIP.
It uses not only a wall-mounted piece that could be located in any situation but also a transportable wheeler for the crutches to be placed also.
